Welcome to Goldsborough Place Apartments.
It is our honour and pleasure to have you in our hotel/serviced apartment.
If there is anything we can help you with during your stay our staff will be more than willing to assist you with your needs. In this pamphlet we have provided all the information you should need and recommendations of our favourite eateries in the area. Here at Goldsborough Place Apartments, your comfort and convenience are always our topmost priority.

House rules and guidelines
- A strict No party policy. Please respect other residents’ peaceful enjoyment in the building.
- Room service is provided once a week for guests staying more than 7 days (if you need extra soaps, detergents, toilet paper etc please ask reception
- Please remove your rubbish in the rubbish chutes or recycling bins in basement before checking out
- Swimming pool can be accessed via the gate on the left hand side of reception. Hours of use are 6am to 9pm.
- No smoking in the apartment including the balcony.
- Locked out after hours: Please call the reception 07 3216 0055. A call-out fee of $110 will apply. If the Fob Access swipe is lost, a replacement fee of $110 will apply.
- If the unit is left in an unacceptable condition extra charges will apply.
Wi-Fi
Network is “Goldsborough place guests” which requires no password
In the case that the Wi-Fi is not up to standard you may request the staff Wi-Fi
Check in/out instructions
If you have checked in through our after hours protocol, please fill in your guest registration and return it to reception at your next available time.
Our usual checkout time is 10am. At checkout, please return all the keys to our office. If our office is closed, please push the keys through the office window grates.

Local Transport Information
- Black & White cabs: 133 222
- Bus stops: Macquarie St at Mercantile Place, Stop 14. Commercial Rd at Florence Street, Stop 13are the nearest bus stops to Macquarie St at Vernon Terrace in Newstead.
- Ferry terminal can be accessed by walking left facing the river along the riverfront boardwalk for 3 minutes
In Queensland, a Go Card is used on all public transports. You can buy a Go Card and top up with credit at Newsagent in Gasworks Plaza, which is 9min walk away or 0.8km from Goldsborough Place Apartments. Please see the map below for details.
